As part of the project Caring Histories: Asian Caregivers in Berlin, Migration, Memory, and Social Change, Thùy Trang Nguyễn will screen their film JACKFRUIT.

Saturday 28 March, 7pm at Mental Health Arts Space (MHAS) Berlin

JACKFRUIT moves between personal memory and collective history. The film follows intimate moments shaped by migration and generational experience, and reflects on how cultural memory is carried, transformed, and sustained within diasporic life. Working across documentary and narrative elements, the film approaches its subjects with close attention and restraint, allowing complex social realities to emerge through character and atmosphere.

Following the screening, director Thùy Trang Nguyễn will host a conversation with the audience. The discussion will open a space to reflect on the themes of the film and their connection to broader histories of care, migration, and community in Berlin.
