amaeze (they/she) will be sharing poems and fragments of their unpublished work in a Spoken Word Performance inviting listeners onto a sensual journey of what it means to experience this world in a human body. amaeze enjoys exploring language through melody and rhythm creating soundscapes together with the audience. Their selected work will touch upon human & non-human relations, precolonial knowledge, trickster energy, spirituality and the pockets of power inside of marginalization. amaeze (they/she) is a researcher and storyteller in different mediums, mostly through written and spoken word. Their artistic work centers precolonial knowledge, spirituality, mental health and other topics on the margins. amaeze hosts online creative writing workshops for racialized folks and is a co-founder and former member of LIAA e.V., a community library for marginalized knowledge in Leipzig. amaeze works as an audiodescription author in film. They are queer, German, mixed race, black and crip.
